Until this hour, the Central Election Commission has received data from 55% of the total of polling stations. 90.88% of ballot papers were processed in Chisinau. <\/p>\n

According to the last data, Veaceslav Iordan of the Moldovan Party of Communists leads the race with 28.57 per cent, followed by Dorin Chirtoaca (Liberal Party) with 24.61 per cent. The two candidates will participate in the run-off, due to be held in two weeks.
