The UNO General Assembly in will consider the "frozen conflict" problem on post-Soviet space. This issue was proposed by Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova (GUAM), Moldova’s Resident Representatives to the UNO Alexei Tulbure communicates. <\/p>\n

According to Tulbure’s statement for foreign mass media, there is already the core of the resolution: active consultations, including with Russia, continue. <\/p>\n

"There is no original and shocking ideas in this draft, we refused from confrontation, from issues, which some countries could put forward on the individual level, as for example, the unconditional withdrawal of Armed forces from their territories. We do not demand UNO peacekeepers and we limited ourselves to declarations, confirming our territorial integrity. I think, there will be serious progress on this issue in spring", Tulbure said. <\/p>\n

In his opinion, a "milder" version of the resolution has more chances to be supported by the Assembly. <\/p>\n

"We are negotiating "frozen conflicts" with Russia, as usual: they are against, we are – for, the usual balance is preserved.
