The Moldovan Ministry of Reintegration considers Tiraspol recurs to disinformation and provocations. Such were the ministry’s comments on the last weekend incident near the Cocieri village in the Security Zone on the Dniester. <\/p>\n

"Reports by the Transnistrian Moldova about an intrusion and an attempt to capture the Transnistrian territory is complete disinformation and are of a provocative character and call virtually for the escalation of tension in the Security Zone", a statement, made by the Moldovan Ministry of Reintegration on Monday, says. <\/p>\n

"The incident was whipped up artificially. Attempts by the Transnistrian administration to organize a large scandal from the conflict situation, which could be solved in a working order, present an example of the Transnistrian side’s inadequate reaction to the developing circumstances. It manifests a striving for whipping up deliberately tension in the Security Zone with the participation of law and order bodies that confronts with the Agreement of July 21, 1992 and the JCC successive decisions", the document remarks. <\/p>\n

\"\"The Ministry of Reintegration designated the further pressure escalation and the intimidation of the population counter-productive and remarked that the other participants in the peacekeeping process estimated objectively and reasonably the incident and condemned an attempt to destabilize the situation. <\/p>\n

"We underscore collective efforts by the Joint Control Commission and the Joint Military Commandment in cooperation with the OSCE mission to Moldova in having stabilized the situation near the Cocieri village.
