In accordance with a decree by the President of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic Igor Smirnov the Ministry of Finance was set up again after a six-year break. PRB First Deputy Chairman Alexei Melnic will head this ministry. <\/p>\n

As Infotag has already reported, the Ministry of Finance was dissolved in 2000 after Smirnov’s victory at the previous elections. The functions of the dissolved ministry in the new Government were divided between the Ministry of Economy, the tax service, the budget department and the treasury. <\/p>\n

After Smirnov’s victory at the last elections in December 2006 he dissolved the cabinet again and began forming a new one. The majority of the officials preserved their posts. Alongside with it, Anatoly Bliashku, who headed the Ministry of Industry for many years, had to look for another job. He was replaced by Tiraspoltransgas head Petr Stepanov. <\/p>\n

Vladislav Finagin, who headed the Dubasari town and raion administration from the proclamation of Transnistria in 1990, was replaced by Igor Mazur, who was the head of the local customs. <\/p>\n

The posts of the Minister of Economy (Elena Cernenco currently), the Minister of Information and Telecommunications (Vladimir Beliaev), the Minister of Education (Elena Bomeshko), Minister of Natural Resources and Ecological Control (Iurie Ceban) remain vacant. \/\/ Infotag<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
