Territorial organisations from Transnistria, which were part of the Our Moldova Alliance (AMN), have quitted the party and intend to join the lawmakers who dissociated themselves from AMN. <\/p>\n

Alexei Mocreac, AMN chairman in Grigoripol, told a news conference on Friday that this decision was made because the AMN leadership headed by Urechean and Untila does not meet the interests and aspirations of Transnistrians and plays the game of Moscow and Tiraspol. "Now I understand why the Tiraspol regime has openly called upon electors from Transnistria during the 2005 campaign to vote the AMN," he added. <\/p>\n

According to Vitalia Pavlicenco, former deputy chairwoman of the AMN parliamentary faction, the Ministry of Justice has confirmed that the future party which could be created by the end of this year may be called National Liberal Party (PNL) and all acts are in order. "The symbol of this party will be an arrow as sign of liberalism," Pavlicenco noted. <\/p>\n

She underlined that the future pro-European centre-right party will include more than 80 members and initiative groups are collecting signatures in the territory for creation of the PNL. <\/p>\n

PNL members do not rule out a possible alliance with liberal parties and even with AMN, if the AMN leadership changes its visions. At the same time, this party intends to participate in the spring 2007 general local elections and parliamentary elections. <\/p>\n

The AMN excluded parliamentarians Vitalia Pavlicenco and Anatol Taranu on September 30 as a disciplinary measure. At the same time, AMN members Mircea Rusu and Anatol Vidrascu tendered resignation.
