According to Bazgu, the members of his movement are inhabitants of Transnistria before 1992. They want their rights respected, so that they could visit relatives and friends without paying customs taxes on Nistru River. <\/p>\n<p>UNVRI chairman, Eduard Maican, claims Russia plainly, rudely and coarsely violates the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova by organizing a referendum in the regions from the left bank of Nistru River, an action that once more proves the colonial tendencies of this country.
