Today, on May 6 Communist parliamentarian Alexandr Jdanov have charged Moldova’s President Petru Lucinschi for an unprecedented promoting campaign, which he has launched in mass media in support of carrying out the consultative referendum on changing the governing system in the country, at the plenary sitting, INTERLIC News agency reports. <\/p>\n

The representatives of the other factions have supported the Communist representative. Chairman of the Permanent Commission for Culture, Science and mass media, Gheorghe Duca has informed the parliamentarians that State TV and Radio Chairman Tudor Olaru and Chief of the Electoral Commission Dumitru Nidelcu had been invited on the eve to the commission. It had been transpired that the latter had sent three video clips of promoting nature in favor of the President to the TV with his personal order for their compulsory demonstration. The commission demanded to recall these clips. <\/p>\n

The observers think that after Petru Lucinschi’s order on carrying out the plebiscite the Parliament has criticized him with acrimony for the second time.
