Today, on May 6 the Constitutional Court has examined the next request by parliamentarian Victor Cecan, INTERLIC News agency reports. The legislator asks to give the interpretation of Article 67 of the Constitution, which article stipulates the right of one third of the parliamentarians for the convocation of extraordinary or special sessions of the Parliament. The request is connected with the fact that Speaker Dumitru Diacov and some members of the Permanent Bureau did not convene an extraordinary session on January 14 by a request of the Communists, who make up one third. <\/p>\n

The CC has decided that the similar constitutional right is to be fulfilled compulsorily. Extraordinary or special parliamentary sessions must be convened within the terms, specified in the regulation and nobody, even the speaker and members of the Permanent Bureau have the right to limit the will of the parliamentarians to convene a session.
