The social-political survey “Omnimas” that was carried out in June shows that the Communist Party of Moldova (PCRM) continues to be the most trusted party by the population. In descending order, PCRM is followed by Our Moldova Alliance Party (AMN), the Christian Democratic People’s Party (PPCD) and the Democratic Party (PD). <\/p>\n

Some 18% of the respondents place a lot of trust in PCRM, while 31% – some trust. At the same time, 24% of the surveyed have no trust in the Communist Party, with 18% trusting PCRM to a small extent. <\/p>\n

PPCD and PD are the least trusted parties. They got a no confidence vote of 64%. They are followed by Our Moldova Alliance Party (61%) and by the Social Political Movement “Ravnopravie” (60%). <\/p>\n

As concerns the trust in political personalities, President Vladimir Voronin is trusted by 55% of the respondents, Premier Vasile Tarlev – 45%, Speaker Marian Lupu – 37%. Deputy speaker Iurie Rosca is the least trusted political personality, he getting a no confidence rate of 68%. He is followed by Dumitru Diacov (66%), Dumitru Braghis (64%) and Serafim Urechean (63%). <\/p>\n

The Church is still the most trusted institution, while the political parties – the least trusted. <\/p>\n
