\"\"The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE\/PA) calls for a permanent dialogue between the Chisinau parliament and the Tiraspol legislature. <\/p>\n

Kimmo Kiljunen, head of the working group of OSCE\/PA for Moldova, said Wednesday evening after a two-day visit to Moldova that this dialogue would serve as a complex basis for talks and exchange of information between sides. At the same time, the OSCE official said that these talks cannot be interpreted as recognition of statehood of Transnistria. <\/p>\n

Speaking about the draft resolution on Moldova elaborated by the OSCE\/PA working group, which will be tabled for examination at the Brussels meeting of this organisation, Kiljunen said that the document starts from the fact that the Transnistrian conflict can be settled only by respecting the integrity of Moldova, while the Transnistrian region would hold a special status as part of the reunified state. <\/p>\n

The July 2005 resolution on Moldova that the OSCE\/PA adopted in Washington neglected the amendments of Chisinau, while the Moldovan delegation has left the sitting room then as a sign of protest.
