The secessionist republics in Moldova and Georgia will assist each other "in front of external dangers." A decision in this regard was made after a joint sitting of the so-called foreign ministers of Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transnistria that took place in Suhumi, Georgia. <\/p>\n

According to a communication published by agencies of the secessionist republics on Tuesday, representatives of Transnistria, Abkhazia and South Ossetia established Monday an action plan for the next months. They discussed "prospects of a political settlement of conflicts and security in the Black Sea and Caucasus region" and condemned "the economic and diplomatic pressures" in this process. <\/p>\n

In particular, representatives of the secessionist republics have discussed how to get through "external provocations and threats." They agreed to support each other for this purpose. Also, they studied problems of international law in terms of recognition of independence of the three secessionist republics. <\/p>\n

The sitting of the so-called foreign ministers was part of preparations for a meeting of leaders of the separatist republics from Moldova and Georgia. The date of this meeting was not made public. Last meeting of this kind was held on December 20, 2005. <\/p>\n
