The need to sign the document was approached on Friday evening, within a meeting of Moldovan Deputy Premier, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Stratan and Romanian Foreign Minister Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu. <\/p>\n<p>Stratan told MOLDPRES that &quot;the document&#8217;s signing is relevant for Moldova and Romania, as at present there does not exist a political treaty which would set the political relations between the two states,&quot; Stratan said. <\/p>\n<p>The Moldovan minister reiterated that during the meeting they discussed about the projects on the border treaty and the visa regime agreement, which is to be introduced between the states after Romania joins the European Union. &quot;We approached the Transnistrian problem, the European integration and the outcomes of the Summit held in Luxembourg.
