The party of social Democracy (PSD) has announced a competition for the emblem of the party and brand "Competitive Moldova". The PSD provides prizes for the total sum of USD 440. <\/p>\n

The PSD Chairman Dmitrii Bragis said at the press-conference on Monday that members of the party and its supporters are eligible for participation in the competition, participation of the youth is especially welcome. The competition will take place from June 20 to July 20 and the results will be announced in four days after its completion <\/p>\n

Answering the question whether the PDS would take part in local elections to take place in 2007, Bragish noted that his party would participate independently and the lists of candidates from the party would be drawn by October 1. <\/p>\n

Bragish said that the PSD was a centrist party promoting social democratic values. He said that the only opponent of the party was the party currently in office. <\/p>\n

"We support European integration and strategic partnership with Russia. Present relations with Moscow cannot satisfy, thus, we support beginning of dialogue at all levels with Russian authorities.", – noted Bragis. <\/p>\n
