The European parliament has adopted a resolution by which it expresses its disappointment about Turaspol’s unwillingness to find peaceful solutions for the Transnistrian conflict settlement. <\/p>\n

The European MPs believe as opportune, given the situation, to enlarge the list of the ban on travel to the European Union imposed against the Transnistrian officials. <\/p>\n

At the same time, they called on Russia to stop backing Tiraspol and withdraw unconditionally the military troops and patrimony from the eastern districts of Moldova. According to the European MPs, the issue should be on the agenda of the European Union-Russia Summit. <\/p>\n
