As a result, the traffic of trucks, buses and cars has been fully restored, the Ukrainian Customs Service has reported. <\/p>\n

According to it, Ukrainian customs organs carry out all law-envisaged paper procedures with cargoes and vehicles at absolutely all stations along the Transnistrian segment of the Moldova-Ukraine border. Last night alone, for instance, the Ukrainians documented the exit of 23 heavy trucks from the Ukrainian territory, and are now doing all in their power to shorten the customs documentation procedure. So now everything depends on the Transnistrian side, the Service wrote in its Press Release today. <\/p>\n

The Secretary of the Ukrainian Council of National Security and Defense, Anatoly Kinah, has welcomed the first steps made to resume cargo traffic to\/via Transnistria. He believes this will make it impossible to artificially aggravate the socio-economic situation in the region. <\/p>\n

Anatoly Kinah believes that the situation de-blocking has been a fruit of Ukraine’s active consultations in the 5+2 format, including the recent negotiations with the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Igor Ivanov. <\/p>\n
