The first question is how and, in general, if the Moldovan police cooperates with the Transnistrian militia in the security area, where they should be doing everything together? Are there any divergences or conflicts between them?
\n<\/strong><\/div>\n

We could have had divergences, if we had worked together. Divergences like who reached the place of the incident first, who managed to get more information, etc. But as we are marginalized, we are not given any information and are treated with hostility, while they control the town, having all the support from the local authorities and the Russian peacekeeping force, in these conditions we have no divergences because we are not working together.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
You said that the Russian peacekeepers support the Transnistrian militia. <\/i><\/b>How is this support displayed?
\n<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/div>\n
The last case was a week ago, when the Militia has announced a “Grom” type alert – which means that an attack organized by armed people with possible hostages has taken place. Therefore, extra security troops have arrived in the Security Zone from Parcani village. According to the law, the Russian peacekeepers had no right to permit the access of armed troops in the security zone without the decision of Joint Control Commission and the Unified Military Commandment. The same was in 2004 when the Railroad was taken over. Then special forces had come from Tiraspol in the Security Zone. Nobody explained where were peacekeepers, the unified military commandment, the guarantors…   <\/div>\n

And how do you rate the activity of the current peacekeeping format in this context?
\n<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
At the time being, the role of the peacekeepers is practically null. Something must be changed. There must be a change of the format. The peacekeepers who live and have apartments and families here just can’t make order and change the situation radically. Peacekeepers that are independent and objective must come. The current  peacekeepers don’t do anything else but cover up the violations of the Transnistrians and focus attention only at the eventual ones of the Moldovan policemen. <\/div>\n

How would you rate the Joint Control Commission’s activity?
\n<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
The Joint Control Commission <\/i> practically doesn’t operate since summer, last year. Its representatives gather up just to appoint new commission members or new military observers. As for the rest, the commission doesn’t work, because Tiraspol authorities still don’t want to help us solve the problems of the Dorotscaia village lands, which have not been cultivated for two years now. And the Unified Control Commission has practically shown its inefficiency. In this field there’s also need for a new format.  <\/div>\n

It seems that <\/i><\/b>Tiraspol<\/i><\/b> authorities are not in the mood to change anything in the current state of things…
\n<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
Everything depends of the evolutions in Georgia. Georgia doesn’t want Russian peacekeepers. Georgia might become a precedent in this respect. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
