On Thursday Parliament Speaker Dumitru Diacov held a pressconference during which he informed about the results of the visit to Russia.<\/p>\n

Diacov appreciated the discussions with officials from Moscow as "very productive". According to him, during these discussions was stressed the common interest for extending bilateral relations, and for finding solutionsto the problems regarding the economic cooperation.<\/p>\n

Diacov mentioned that during his visit to Moscow was decided to sign in the near future an agreement regarding the export of goods from Moldova, of thetotal value of USD 70 million, in order to return the debts toward Russian"Gazprom" Company. It was discussed the possibility to sign a long term economicagreement with the Russian Government, and problems related to the withdrawalof the Russian troops dislocated in Moldova.<\/p>\n

"When discussing with representatives of the Committee for CIS states and representatives of the political fractions the problem of Transnistria, – saidDiacov, – I had the impression that many of them are just programmed againstChisinau position, and that they are all partisans of the Transnistrianseparatism", declared Diacov.<\/p>\n

Referring to the Transnistrian conflict, Diacov mentioned that at Moscow wasdecided to organize at Odessa, in April or May, a conference at which willparticipate Moldovan deputies, Russian deputies, and Ukrainian deputies,OSCE, CE delegates, and representatives of Transnistria.<\/p>\n

"We reconfirmed our position, through which we support the idea to work on the basis of the agreement proposed by warrant states, that is not being accepted by Tiraspol", mentioned Diacov.<\/p>\n

At Moscow was discussed the basis political treaty, that was withdrawn by theState Duma by President Yeltsin."At the Ministry of External Affairs from Russia we were assured that on thenew version of the treaty will work operatively in order to sign it this year",Diacov said.<\/p>\n

President of the Parliament Committee for External Policy Vasile Nedelciuc,present at the press conference, mentioned that during the non-official discussions was clearly mentioned that Moldova can not get out of the Russiansphere of influence, and can not choose independently a direction towards amassive integration in the European structures.
