Parliamentary Cooperation Committee is meeting in Brussels on February 21 with energy security in Moldova and Pasat case at the top of the agenda. <\/p>\n

Members of the European Commission are expected to attend this preparatory meeting. The European officials are meeting to discus three issues of great importance to Moldova: the Transdniestrian conflict, the energy security in Moldova under Gazprom’s position and legal system’s functioning in Moldova, with special attention devoted to Pasat case. <\/p>\n

EU Delegation to Moldova-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee meets several times a year at the proposal of the members of the delegation. Until now the European officials avoided any intervention in or comment on the ruling of the Moldovan court on Pasat case. Pasat’s lawyer Gheorghe Amihalachioae told our reporter he did not seek help from the Committee in the case.
