On Monday, at the Parliament House, continued the negotiations forthe formation of the new cabinet of Ministers. The negotiations took placebetween the newly appointed Prime-Minister and the leaders of the Parliamentgroups from the ADR. After the negotiations were over, the newly appointedPrime-Minister declared that he still insists on the conditions he has exposedfrom the very beginning.<\/p>\n

"I understand very well that this Government should be a coalition Government,otherwise this will not be a real Governing. Any Government also requires apolitical coverage, but this is also very important for this Government toinclude people that would be able to do it", Mr. Urecheanu declared.<\/p>\n

Mr. Urecheanu said that "the formation of the Government still involved manyproblems. It is necessary to create a new, modest, viable structure, thatwould result from the possibilities of the economy".<\/p>\n

"With much difficulty, but we succeeded to reach a consensus", Mr. Urecheanudeclared. According to him, the controversies concern "the nominal structureof the future Government", but "it is early" to nominalize the candidates tothe portfolios. "By the end of the week, we shall put an end to these problems -whether we go forward, or we go to the Mayoralty", Mayor of Chisinau city,newly appointed Prime-Minister Serafim Urecheanu declared.<\/p>\n

Deputy from the Block "For a Democratic and Prosperous Moldova", GrigoreEremei declared that by the end of Monday, the structure of the Government willbe decided, while on Tuesday it will be discussed at the session of theAlliance for Democracy and Reforms (the Government coalition).<\/p>\n

"Generally speaking, we reached an agreement. The problem of the Governmentstructure was mainly discussed and we did not nominalize any specific persons.It is not excluded that the number of Ministries and Departments will bereduced, in order to keep the promises we made. The number of employees inMinistries will also be reduced.
