Shrimp in Garlic-Wine Sauce

Shrimp in Garlic-Wine Sauce

Serves 4-6.

2 lbs fresh shrimp, cleaned and deveined
1/4 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 cup packed freshly chopped parsley
1/2 cup dry white wine
salt and pepper to taste

Heat oil and garlic over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add parsley and shrimp and cook for 2 minutes over medium-high heat. Add the wine and cook until the shrimp are done, about 3-5 minutes (do not over-cook). Add salt and pepper to taste.
