Orheiul vechi - historical cradle of Moldova
At the beginning we shall pass through some Moldovan villages, with small stays. So then you will have new impressions about the country and its people. Stefan the Great had been struggling here with Turkish troops. There is a colourful panorama of a natural landscape which combines the high hill and Raut river.
The villager will show to you historical traces of this region: the rests of Geto-Dacian fortress, still functioning cave monastery, ruins of the old Turkish bath. In Orheiul
Vechi you also will see a typical Moldovan house of the 19 century, you will have an an opportunity to taste dishes of the Moldovan national cuisine.
After a rest we will come back to Chisinau.
