Note for Moldovan-born US citizens: If you have both United States and a new Moldovan blue passport we advise you to use your Moldovan passport to travel to Moldova. The Embassy in Washington, DC will not issue visas to US citizens bearing Moldovan passports and the local Moldovan police departments will not register your stay in Moldova. If your Moldovan passport has expired please contact us to extend it. Also, if you have an old red former USSR passport and would like to get a new Moldovan passport we will gladly assist you with it.
